How to Get Interviews:

Many job seekers in Ethiopia get frustrated because they apply to many places, but never get called for interviews. This is happening to many job seekers applying for various jobs in Ethiopia through job portals such Ezega Jobs, EmployEthiopia, EthioJobs, Mjobs, etc. In many cases, the reasons are simple and common.

Regardless of whether you are applying from mjobs or employethiopia or any other, the hiring manager normally gets many resumes to review. The number one question in the mind of the hiring manager is who among the many applicants can best handle the job at hand. The only way to tell prior to interviews is through resumes and cover letters. The hiring manager would normally look for someone who has done something similar or at least one who showed interest in the work being advertised. If your cover letter so generic (the same for all jobs), you will be talking about something else not related to the job you are applying - which means, in the eye of the hiring manager, you are not suitable for the job you are applying. So, it is extremely important that you edit the cover letter for each job you are applying to show interest in the job, and to mention something related that you have done or studied in the past. Job Summary:
The Customer Support Specialist serves as the first point of contact for customer support requests coming into Apposit’s Call Center. The main responsibility of this position is to answer incoming calls, capture, and record all required information, and attempt to diagnose and resolve issues on the phone. Issues that cannot immediately be resolved will either be followed up offline or escalated to the appropriate level of support. Support will be provided by clearly communicating technical solutions in a user-friendly and professional manner.
Solutions include, but are not limited to, resolving username and password problems, uninstalling/reinstalling basic software applications, verifying proper hardware and software set-up, power cycling equipment, and assisting with navigating around application menus.

Main Responsibilities:
• Act as a first point of contact for customer calls coming into Apposit’s call center
• Gather customer information and record incoming calls in the incident management tool
• Attempt to diagnose issues by asking pointed questions and analyzing the symptoms
• Provide information to customers in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services
• Escalate issues to appropriate levels as required in a timely manner
• Actively coordinates with team members and other service support groups to effectively resolve incidents and requests
• Participates in after-hours on-call rotation when needed
• Follow standard processes and procedures
• Accurately process and record all Support Requests using the incident management tool
• Follow up and make scheduled callbacks to customers where necessary
• Learn quickly and keep up to date with existing and new products, service offerings and known issues
• Conduct a structured and well-designed user(s) training for customers when necessary
• Participate in any activity that involves field travels

Job performance measurements:

• Is able to establish and maintain a good working relationship with all customers, and creates a good impression for the company in terms of professionalism, promptness, and quality of service delivery.
• Demonstrates patience and care when dealing with all customers

• Captures all required information for incoming support requests in a clear and comprehensive manner.

• Customer inquiries and calls are promptly answered, and all reported issues are resolved within agreed timeframes.
• Is able to prioritize and manage many open cases simultaneously, and is consistently appreciated by clients or has had minimum escalations/complaints from clients.

• Escalates issues as required in a timely manner
• Is able to learn the technical and functional details of products and services and effectively resolve issues.
