Addis Ababa, September 1, 2008 (Addis Ababa) - Ethiopian long distance star Kenenisa Bekele turned in the fastest time this year in the 3,000, finishing in 7 minutes, 31.94 seconds at the British Grand Prix on Sunday. It is the second time for Kenenisa to win after he clinched both the 5,000 and 10,000 m in Beijing with record time. Last Friday Kenenisa won 5000 m at Weltklasse Zürich, ÅF Golden League. Kenenisa holds the world and Olympic records in the 5000 metres and 10,000 metres. He is the most accomplished runner in IAAF World Cross Country Championships history, with six long (12K) course and five short (4K) course titles
